The Arkaba Walk is a Wild Bush Luxury experience in an iconic outback Australian setting. By joining this fully hosted all-inclusive four-day walk you’re not only witnessing an environment in recovery, you’re actively participating its revival. You’ll see and hear the results of active conservation as you walk through the landscape and meet the wildlife in the company of passionate field guides. Explore 60,000 acres of privately-owned and carefully protected outback with a maximum of ten walkers.
If you’ve been eyeing off the Arkaba Walk and have not had any luck with available dates, we have good news for you! A cancellation has opened two spots on our four-night Original Arkaba Walk self-drive (or with transfers from Adelaide included) on 12 May 2021. You had better get a wriggle on as they won’t last long on an otherwise sold-out Arkaba Walk season!
Will you swag out under the stars deep in Arkaba’s wilderness, opt for a softer landing in the restored Arkaba Homestead, or maybe you’ll round up the troops to head bush for a few days of walking in the Flinders Ranges with the family? However you choose to experience it, two things stay the same – generous field guiding all the way. And, by joining any Wild Bush Luxury experience on the Arkaba Walk, you’re contributing to our biodiversity conservation of this place.
If you love walking in nature and the sound of an outback adventure but swag camping under the stars isn’t your idea of fun, we now have a lodge-based walking experience for you. Long piping-hot showers, air conditioning, and a bottomless South Australian wine cellar come with the territory.
The only issue with this location is the huge amount of mosquitos here. But don’t worry as we’ve got you covered here. All jeep & rest house will have buzzbgone installed in it.
