MINIMUM NUMBERS

Our Wild Bush Luxury experience on the Original Arkaba Walk operates with a minimum 4 and maximum of 10 people. Our Arkaba Walk Just for Families experience operates with a minimum of 3 and maximum of 10 people. Our Lodge-Based Arkaba Walk operates with a minimum of 4 and maximum of 10 people. We would rather not run into loads of people when out and about on foot safari so we dial up on wide open space and keep numbers to a privileged few. We will be in touch at least 35 days prior to your scheduled departure to work through possible alternatives. We care about your holiday and value your decision to travel with us. Thoughtful consideration will be taken to give you the option of an inspirational Wild Bush Luxury alternative and a full refund on monies received will be issued on rare occasions when a suitable alternative is not available.

EXCLUSIVE WALK

To book a walk exclusively, the cost is equivalent to paying for 9 of 10 walkers. We are happy to liaise with one group organiser or we can generate individual invoices and communicate with each walker separately, whichever is most suitable for you.

PRIVATE GUIDING

It is possible to request a partially private walk with a private guide available for days 2 & 3 of any departure. Day 1 of the walk does not have an alternative route, however days 2 & 3 you can be privately guided on an alternate route across Arkaba’s 60,000 acre private wildlife conservancy. A private packed lunch will also be enjoyed each day. Breakfast, evening meals and accommodation at our signature swag camps and Arkaba Homestead will be shared with the rest of the group up to a maximum of ten walkers. The cost of private guiding on Days 2 & 3 is $1,000 per person total and must be requested in advance.

FAMILY POLICY

The Arkaba Walk welcomes children 12 years and over or from 8 years on our Wild Bush Luxury experiences designed Just For Families.

PAYMENTS

A 20% deposit is required within 7 days of confirming your booking. Full payment must be made 30 days prior to your arrival. For bookings made within 30 days, payment must be made within 48 hours of booking. See payment options at arkabawalk.com/pay

Payment of the booking will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions. If payment is not made by the due date the booking is subject to automatic cancellation. Acceptance of your booking will be confirmed in writing to you and a contract comes into existence on the date shown on the confirmation. The booking conditions are binding when your reservation is confirmed in writing to you.

COVID ASSURANCE

We understand now more than ever that, sometimes, plans change. If you cancel outside 30 days, we will provide a full refund less $50 administration fee and credit card merchant fees (if you have chosen to settle your deposit by credit card). Within 30 days of arrival, all monies are forfeited. However, if with the current COVID-19 pandemic and after medical advice state governments decide to apply quarantine conditions or close state borders and prohibit you from travelling within 30 days of travel, we would not impose full cancellation fees. We would invite you to join our Wild Bush Luxury experience on the Arkaba Walk at another time that suits your schedule.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that, sometimes, plans change. If you can no longer make your confirmed trip, please let us know by email at arkabawalk@wildbushluxury.com. Outside 30 days, you’ll get a full refund less $50 administration fee and any credit card merchant fees if you’ve chosen to pay your deposit by credit card. Within 30 days of your arrival, all monies will be forfeited. We reserve the right to cancel bookings that remain unpaid within 30 days of arrival. No refunds will be made if you leave prematurely for any reason after your Wild Bush Luxury experience on the Arkaba Walk has begun.

While payments are refundable outside 30 days (less credit card merchant fees if you choose to Settle your account using credit card). If medical advice informs government decision to close state borders and prohibit you from travelling, we would not impose full cancellation fees and would allow you to join us on your Wild Bush Luxury experience on the Arkaba Walk another time.

PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Before making a booking you must advise Wild Bush Walks Pty Ltd trading as The Arkaba Walk of any pre-existing medical condition, mobility impairment and/or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of you requiring medical attention, or that might affect the normal conduct of your trip and enjoyment for other group members. The Arkaba Walk may require an assessment of your medical condition from a qualified medical practitioner. If you fail to adequately notify us of any pre-existing medical conditions and/or disability, we reserve the right, at our reasonable discretion, to cancel your participation in a trip at any time, including after the commencement of their trip, with no right of refund if your medical condition, mobility impairment and/or disability could be reasonably expected to affect the normal conduct of the trip and the enjoyment of other trip members.

FORCE MAJEURE

‘Force Majeure’ means (without restriction) any event which Wild Bush Walks Pty Ltd trading as The Arkaba Walk could not, even with due care, foresee or avoid. Force Majeure covers events such as, but not limited to, adverse weather conditions, fire, flood and all similar events beyond our control. In the case of Force Majeure Wild Bush Walks Pty Ltd will not accept liability, and reserves the right to change and cancel trips. Any changes will be communicated in writing with absolute care for you in mind.

TAXES/SERVICES CHARGES

We reserve the right to adjust rates agreed within the contract period in the event of tax alterations imposed by the Federal or State governments or resulting from rate changes received by third party suppliers.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We recommend that all guests obtain travel insurance including a cancellation policy and emergency medical care. We a happy to provide direction if required.
